HOW TO PLAY DUNE Ascendant

One color. Wall to wall.

The goal

Your goal is to connect sand of one color from the left wall to the right wall. When the path is complete, the connected group clears and makes space for the next blocks. You do not need to complete a perfectly horizontal row.

Your first run

Choose Normal to learn how the sand flows. Watch the falling block and the next-block preview. Move and rotate before dropping: once a block settles, its grains spread across the pile. Build toward both walls and keep some space near the top of the board.

Score & combos

5 SEC

Make another connection within five seconds to raise your combo.

×8

The maximum multiplier. After five seconds without a clear, the next starts at ×1.

Points depend on the grains removed and the multiplier. Clearing connections also increases the game speed.

Strategy

  1. Spread the sand

Avoid dropping every block in the center. Keep space at the top and build toward both walls.

  2. Watch the preview

Check the next block before a quick drop. The ghost shows where the current block will land.

  3. Let the pile settle

After a clear, watch for a new path as the sand settles. Adapt to the shape of the pile.

End of a run

A run ends when the board can no longer continue: there is no ten-minute time limit. The results show your score and, after online verification, earned XP. Publish your result or play again. You do not have to publish a score to save your progress.
