PROGRESS & LEADERBOARD

Every run counts.

DUNE Ascendant creates a guest profile without asking you to register. Your score measures one run; XP grows your progress over time. The server verifies a run before awarding progress and allowing it onto the leaderboard.

01How you earn XP

A qualifying run earns 20 base XP, plus one XP for every 50 score points, capped at 500 bonus XP from score. Achievements add one-time bonuses. A run shorter than 15 seconds with no clears does not advance your progress. XP saves automatically after verification: a nickname is only needed if you choose to publish your score.

02Levels and palettes

You start at level 1. Reach level 2 at 100 total XP, level 3 at 400, level 4 at 900 and level 5 at 1,600. The Ocean palette unlocks at level 3 and Neon at level 5. Select them in your progress section; Fusion uses the original colors to keep its rule easy to read.

03Achievements

Achievements reward specific goals involving speed, precision, combos and game modes. Each XP bonus is awarded once, after run verification. Your progress view shows earned achievements; notifications during gameplay are provisional until the verified result confirms them.

04Personal records and global rankings

Your personal record keeps your highest score. To join the global leaderboard, publish a verified run with a nickname from the results dialog. Each profile has one entry per mode: its best published run. Equal scores favor the shorter run. The public list shows the top 30 players, while the game panel shows your position even beyond 30th place.

05Where progress is saved

Verified progress belongs to the guest profile recognized by your browser. Reopen the game in the same browser to continue. Another browser or a private window may use a different profile: progress is not merged automatically.

06Keep access to your profile

Avoid clearing the game cookies if you want to keep using your guest profile. If you already saved a recovery code, keep it private: it grants profile access. Your public nickname identifies your leaderboard entry, but is not a credential for recovering progress.
